Wood also shares fascinating and sobering data based on a multi-year
perception study of VPL (the Valuation Study). It was created in 2010,
repeated in 2013, and elements were repeated again in 2015. Three years of
comparative data to show to what extent library users and non-users are
willing to support (with tax dollars) their public library as well as the
library's perceived relevance and how various library impact statements
resonated in 2015 with community members.
